Sri Lanka presidential election a specimen of the true ballot paper
Please take some time to study the attached Ballot Paper. It is a specimen of a true ballot paper. This is now being distributed among the voters, especially the SF supporters, by the UNP/JVP/SLMC activists.
We fully commend this effort. As everyone knows by now, there are 22 different symbols and there are only two other animal symbols which appear in the ballot paper. They are 1) rabbit, 2) Kangaroo which are very easily identifiable. Nobody will mix either one of these animals with SWAN which is General Sarath Fonseka’s symbol.
Voters must also be warned not to spoil the ballot paper by attempting to mark preferences.
All you need to do is mark a cross against the SWAN.
Please make all efforts to circulate this as much as possible among all. Photo copying, faxing and electronic distribution is strongly requested. via LeN
