WhatsApp Gets v2.12.87 Update for Android Users

Instant messaging app, Whatsapp has received an update recently, which comes with new Material Design for Android.

Moreover, the company has released the new Beta version of the app – v2.12.87 which gets more improvement on the aspects of the UI with Material Design elements.

Some changes includes calling screen also, where the caller’s name is now larger, the background is now a teal green color instead of black like it was before and you also get animated arrows from the call answer/reject buttons.

Also, the change can be seen in the background, which looks similar and light compared to the previous one. Moreover, status bar, profile interface changes and the transition animations are the major changes in the UI.

WhatsApp Messenger is an instant messaging app for smartphones, which is send to send images, video, and audio media messages. This application is available in all the platforms including Android, iOS, Windows, Blackberry etc

In January 2015, WhatsApp was the most globally popular messaging app with more than 800 million active users. In April 2015, WhatsApp reached 800 million active users.
