99X Technology wins Gold at 22nd NCE Awards

99X Technology was lauded for its notable contribution to the Sri Lankan economy through the export of high-quality software product engineering services, when it clinched a Gold award in the Export of Business and Professional Services Sector (large category) at the 22nd National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka’s Export Awards for 2013.

It was a tribute to the company’s journey of excellence in the delivery of value-added software products to its predominantly European clientele and to the high benchmarks it meets in its day-to-day operations. 99X Technology has developed over 150 best-in-class products of different technology complexities and in varying business domains and its portfolio includes several leading products in Europe.

“As a Sri Lankan organisation, we are proud of our footprint in the global software industry and recognition of this nature is a great acknowledgement of our contribution to the country’s export revenues as well as to the efforts of our vibrant and innovative team and the standards that they strive to maintain,” stated 99X Technology Co-Founder and CEO Mano Sekaram, when commenting on this accolade.

The company is no newcomer to the NCE Export Awards, having won the Gold award in the Export of Business and Professional Services Sector for 2011 and has continuously been awarded for excellence in the export of software products.

The annual Export Awards conducted by the National Chamber of Exporters, the only chamber that exclusively serves Sri Lankan exporters, is a highprofile event which endeavours to recognise and reward excellence in exports by Sri Lanka exporters who make an indispensable and vital contribution to sustain and expand the economy of Sri Lanka.

99X Technology is a software product engineering company that specialises in delivering high-end software product development services to independent software vendors (ISVs) worldwide, with a primary focus within the European region. Headquartered in Sri Lanka, the company is also based in Oslo, Norway and has an outstanding track record in building and delivering over 150 high-quality commercial products. It has been ranked amongst the top 15 best companies to work for in Sri Lanka in both 2013 and 2014 by Great Place To Work Institute.
