The name change was caused by the takeover of the resort by the hotelier Tharaka Wickramaratne. A well-known and a well experienced hotelier with over 20 years international experience. Tharaka was the former manager of Lotus Villa Ayurveda and Ayurveda Garden Resort, in Sri Lanka.tharaka
