As long as Ranil holding the UNP leadership, UNP never comes to power. That’s cristal clear. If Ranil thinks critisising the government always will increase his votes, he is a real idiot. He would have prased some jobs like Hambantota Harbour, Airport, Norechchole as majority of the country appreciate them while accusing to the government for loosing democracy, good’s prices, media freedom. If karu jayasooriya or sajith becomes the leader, surely they will give good challenge to the government.
Detained General Sarath Fonseka will attend parliament on April 22 and deliver his maiden speech, the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) claimed today.
DNA General Secretary Vijitha Herath, countering the argument raised by some UPFA seniors that General Fonseka cannot become an MP as he has been court martialed, claimed the General could attend Parliament as the law prevents one from coming to the House only if he is facing a case filed in civil courts as per section 84 of the Constitution
