Originally called ‘No War Zone’, Sri Lanka Today is a weekly documentary programme produced by Young Asia Television. The programme features reports and stories about initiatives to promote peace, explores people’s experiences as well as the challenges of living in a diverse, multi ethnic country.

Over the years, these programmes have been the only ones that regularly bring to Sri Lankan audiences images, views and perspectives from various parts of the country – especially the conflict zones of the North and the East – during its periods of war and peace.
