Charles Silva says… Normally it is when there is a dangerous situation ahead on a road, that we find a notice saying "double bend – be careful" or "slippery when wet" etc.
I heard this on the talk show of a radio station. The time of the broadcast being 7 a.m only a few would have been listening and therefore, I thought readers should know about it.
"They said that there is a very funny notice on a main road, around Moratuwa these days: ‘Check point ahead 100 m.’"
I think the authorities forgot to add "Terrorists go the other way with your bombs"
Who is the brain behind these government notices, supporting terrorists?
Well he should be offered a Nobel Prize for Donkey Ideas, or has this been done deliberately to ridicule the government?
Over to you, security top brass.
